Engineering – why a tube?
Due to his autonomy, swisstubes finds
countless possibilities of use:
• accommodations
for winter sports
• hotels
• vacancy appartements
• single guest rooms
• accommodations for athlets during sport events
• events
• emergency accommodations
• ect.
Heating and ventilation
The swisstubes can basically be naturally ventilated.
The groundfloor-heating is part of the standard installations.
Sanitary
The bathrooms are preinstalled in the module. An 80
liter electroboiler supplies the hot water.
Electrical installations
The electrical installations are also preinstalled.
Empty tubes to enlarge the electrical capacity are
existing.
Flexibility
Each module (hotel room) is independent, complete,
and fully furnished. It can be individually transported
and installed. By the use of external coupling (such
as corridors and stairs), the modules can be connected
to each other or to the local infrastruction. The
connecting corridors can be esthetically designed
according to one’s preferences.
Construction
Exterior shell: made up of a colored fiber glass
Interior core: wood construction structually connected
with the exterior shell.
Annular glue-laminated timber and longitudinal wooden
planks carry the structural loads.
Exterior and interior layout
The basic equipment for each module consists of floor
covering, wall paneling, lighting, bathroom (separate
toilette, shower and wash-table). We are open for
modifications, variations or other colors.
Physical features
With this tubular form, the walls and slabs are identical.
The well insulated schell covers all of the requirements.
Due to the minimized load bearing areas, noise protection
is satisfactorily ensured. |
